Off-Grid Energy Ltd., partners with PWRstation to integrate EXOrac™ into their hybrid power generation solutions to address Off-Grid energy markets
Lausanne, Switzerland, mai 16, 2016 – Rugby-based Off-Grid Energy Ltd., a company that supplies efficient, low carbon, grid quality power solutions to people where connecting to an electric grid is either not possible, too expensive and / or to complicated; has entered into a partnership with PWRstation, a solar products development company headquartered in Switzerland.
The partnership brings together a leading manufacturer and supplier of independent hybrid power generation solutions and the manufacturer a proprietary retractable and transportable racking system technology (EXOrac™). It is estimated that by 2035 more than 80 percent of all new energy production and consumption will be in developing nations, where energy infrastructure today is limited, unstable or non-existent and it is within this market, among others, that OGE Ltd will be marketing its Grid to Go™ Hybrid power solution with PWRstation’s EXOrac™ racking system technology integrated as part of the solution.
PWRstation Territory Sales Manager for Northern Europe Malcolm Truman says, ‘With the innovative and versatile advantages that both companies’ solutions offer to today’s off-grid markets, I immediately recognized the distinctive synergies between PWRstation’s EXOrac™ and OGE Ltd.’s Grid to Go™ solutions. I am delighted that OGE saw likewise and excited about the opportunities this partnership represents.
OGE Ltd Managing Director Danny Jones says, ‘Demand for dependable, quality solutions that combine renewable and conventional energy sources as an alternative to grid power is rapidly growing. A solution that can be quickly and reliably set up and put into service without highly skilled labor is what is needed. Our partnership fulfils these needs perfectly and our strategies align very well indeed.’
PWRstation’s EXOrac™ retractable solar racking technology brings an entirely new dimension to solar installations. Engineered to simplify and accelerate solar activations; for off-grid market, the EXOrac™ offers distinct advantages in terms of versatility, mobility and ease of integration. These are features that will be fully taken advantage when this technology is integrated within Off-Grid Energy Ltd.’s Grid to Go™ solution.
Off-Grid Energy Ltd.’s Grid to Go™ is a plug and play power solution that combines all the elements of an off-grid power system into a single product. Long life, high capacity battery technologies are combined with powerful high efficiency inverters and sophisticated control and monitoring circuits. Connected to energy generation sources, such as PWRstation’s EXOrac™, Grid to Go™ has embedded charge control circuitry to process the energy from the solar PV modules to charge the battery and then deliver stable clean power to consumers. Conventional power generation, such as a diesel generator, can be added to the system for a full diesel/solar battery hybrid system.
